Not So White!

white noise -
undiluted
rude voice!

white washed -
no better than
brainwash!

white lies -
pure and simple
disguise!

This post is written in response to OctPoWriMo Challenge – where you’ll write a “POEM” everyday for 31 days, using the prompt word. Follow this link to learn more about it, see other submissions, and to share your own. Come and join in the fun folks!

DAY 25 prompt is – WHITE.

What does ‘white’ make you think of? Snow, cold, clean, racism? Take some time to think about how this color or lack of color makes you feel.

Poetry Form – MUSETTE.

The Musette, created by Emily Romano is a poem that consists of three verses of three lines each. The first lines have two syllables; the second lines have four syllables, and the third lines have two syllables. The rhyme scheme is a/b/a for the first verse; c/d/c for the second verse, and e/f/e for the third verse. The title should reflect the poem’s content.

  1. So many hearts look at white a alway being pure. Forgetting that if you add even a little bit of darkness, therefore makes it becomes just a shade… of what used to be pure! Nicely done!
