Dare To Survive

Endless tribulations could not dissuade her ingenuity,
Countless torments made her wise,
Committing herself to the greater heights,
Fighting worldly battles, she survived.

Believing in herself, her untiring might,
She reclaimed all prosaic possibilities,
Rising above countless paroxysms,
She soared, she arose against each untold adversities.

No hostility can bring her down any more,
In ceaseless opportune moments she affirms,
Wading her way through back-breaking challenges,
In here amaranthine resilience she fathoms.

Her self-worth is her prized possession,
She's determined to "win" in life,
No lies, no heartbreaks, no dejection can waver her faith,
For a "gratified consciousness" she now strives.

"Life is a constant struggle" of that she is well aware,
But would a life be life in entity, if she didn't even dare?

Here we go folks! This is the end of the OctPoWriMo-2018 Challenge! What a fun ride it has been! From heartfelt musings, challenging poetry forms, thought-provoking word prompts to endless learning and seeking – It’s been such a pleasure and privilege!

I thank you all for your constant support and encouragement! Please know that this would not have been possible without your appreciation and love.
Well, tomorrow is a new day and we get back to being the same old iScriblr that we’ve always been!

  8. I’m not sure why, but if made me think of Regina from Once Upon a Time and her journey from being the evil queen to finally loving herself darkness and all to empower her new path in life. Pro because I love the complexities of her character as she embodies a relatable journey of finding who she is, knowing that she is enough, and loving herself beautiful imperfections and all.

    What an epic poem from the heart that offers empowerment to women!❤️❤️
