Surrender

iScriblr_love

When your life has been all about ups and downs,
Worldly matter hitting you back to ground,
With no respite in sight you see,
Let go, roll over, let it be.

(Chorus)
"Surrender" yourself to the mystic law,
Sometimes it's rudimental to ignore the materialistic flaw,
Reminisce that your life is worth a zillion smiles,
In His faith you must endearingly reconcile.

In His faith you must endearingly reconcile.
In His faith you must endearingly reconcile.

Forgive the nay-sayers and dis-remember your pains,
Free yourself from the ghastly caustic chains,
Believe in the Supreme Power Of Love,
Soar, surge, ascend, rise above!

This post is written in response to OctPoWriMo Challenge – where you’ll write a “POEM” everyday for 31 days, using the prompt word. Follow this link to learn more about it, see other submissions, and to share your own. Come and join in the fun folks!

DAY 24 prompt is – BREATHING/SURRENDER.

Have you noticed that when you are stressed, you tend to hold your breath? I once read that an antidote to this is to sing because you can’t do both at once.
How do you deal with stress? Do you practice mindful breathing or meditation? Can you let go and see what happens?

Poetry Form – SONG.

A Song is an expression of a poet’s personal emotions, meant to be sung. Lyrics in a song contain verses (lines that make up a song; sung poem) and a chorus (a repeating verse in a song; refrain).

  1. I do a body scan, I mostly realise my body is actually perfectly at ease, I realise it’s just a thought and Echarte Tolle’s books bring awareness to how painful it is to be caught in the ego/mind association.
