Slobbery kisses,

Squishy jowls, endless tail wags,

No love like dog's love!

DAY 23 prompt is – FUR BABIES.

Some people hate the term “fur babies,” arguing that animals are nothing like “real” children. But those of us who have pets understand. We love our furry babies as if they were our own flesh and blood.
Do you have pets? That love is just as real and strong as any love. Have you ever lost a pet? The grief is just as real and strong as when you lose anyone. What’s your take on the prompt?

Poetry Form – HAIKU.

An un-rhymed Japanese poem recording the essence of a moment. Nature is combined with human nature. It usually consists of three lines of 5/7/5 (5 kana in the first line, 7 kana in the second line, and 5 kana in the third line) totaling seventeen kana.

  4. Yes, animals are nothing like children… those of us who have animals tend to have time for them and don’t expect anything from them. My cat also buries his own crap which doesn’t require he have a big job title or makes a big show of drinking booze.🐱🐱🦉

  6. OMG, so cute! 😍 Animals are beautiful beings that we are blessed to live amongst them to love unconditionally. I have lost my fur baby, and I am still not fully recovered, and it was two years ago. 🙈 I still have the ashes in a sweet box. xx

  9. Great poem!! Love the pictures too, they definitely adore you. My furry pets show love like no other. They are special to me. And yes, it’s hard when you have to say goodbye to them.

    I will FIGHT anyone who tries to tell me my pets don't have the same value as my kids, lol, and I'm only half joking 😉 Hell, sometimes I think my pets are better than my kids so there's that…
