Happy Tuesday y’all! It’s time for the weekly Healthy Food Series on iScriblr.

Well, it’s been six months and 15 “super-foods” – since I started with my “health consciousness” journey with my weekly Healthy Food Series on iScriblr; and trust me, this ride has been more than fun! *happy dance* I admit, sticking up with your New Years Resolutions doesn’t seem to be that impossible any longer (once you get the gist of it!) Some visualization, certain motivation and a great deal of dedication – walah, you start a TREND! And since we are celebrating today, what could be better than talking about our “star-studded” counterparts – the celebrities! *waves like a queen*
This Tuesday, on Healthy Food Series – it is all about the luminaries and their BIZARRE EATING HABITS! *rich people problems*

1 NICOLE KIDMAN

Nicole Mary Kidman is an eminent Australian actress and producer. She is the recipient of multiple awards – including an Academy Award, two Prime-time Emmy Awards, five Golden Globe Awards, and the Silver Bear for Best Actress. Kidman also has been a Goodwill ambassador for UNICEF since 1994 and for UNIFEM since 2006. In 2006, Kidman was made a Companion in the Order of Australia and was the highest-paid actress in the motion picture industry for that year. Christine Diane Teigen is an American model. She made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010 and, alongside Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge, appeared on the cover in 2014. She formerly was a part of the lifestyle panel talk show FABLife and currently co-hosts Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J on Paramount Network. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Tennessee, she began her career as a teenager, making her professional screen debut in The Man in the Moon (1991), for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award. Witherspoon owns a production company Hello Sunshine, a clothing company Draper James, and is actively involved in children’s and women’s advocacy organizations. When BEYONCÉ wanted to lose pounds fast for her role as Deena Jones in Dreamgirls, she turned to the Master Cleanse – a liquid diet. The Master Cleanse Diet is basically a fasting diet where you eat no solid foods and you have to drink 6-to-12 glasses of water mixed with lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper for 10-to-40 days, depending on how much weight you want to shed!

So there you have it folks – the celebrities and their rich-weird ways of losing weight!

Disgusting or totally genius? You decide! 

Alright! Alright! I agree that there is nothing healthy about this post! All I wanted to do was – create some awareness and deviate our “awe-struck-celebrity-inclined” brains to the real REALITY – where we “commoners” follow a food fad or a “crazy” diet program recklessly in hopes of getting a better body/figure! Boy, celebrities do have some weird and admittedly miserable-sounding habits when it comes to food and these do not sound fun for sure. Healthy or not, well, that’s another question all together!

MY ADVISE

Don’t just follow the SUPERSTARS because everyone else around is, or you read a fancy magazine! The effectiveness of these food choices and eating habits is debatable and there has been no scientifically proven long-term value/gain assured.
Rather, know your body, appreciate your physical condition and formulate a goal plan to achieve your desired weight/millstone. Remember, there is no short-cut to good health and a fit body. Work out, eat healthy and listen to what you body has to say to you. There is no substitute to consistency, regularity, dedication and adherence!

  1. I was once on the bad end of a Chrissy Teigen deal. My mom had put out a bowl of dried peas that had some kind of coating on them. I grabbed a handful and my sister said, “oh, I sucked those and put them back.”

  2. This was a fun post, even though a couple wanted to make me gag?! Although I’d say no to bugs and wouldn’t have the courage to do what Beyonce does, a baby food diet sounds great lol. I know it defeats the purpose of your post but girl, I love most of the fruit flavor baby food! I never buy it for myself but when my daughters were babies, they shared with me!! 😁

    1. Haha.. Tbh, I guess, I too am guilty of “sharing” baby food from my little cousins a few times – but I certainly can not think of it as my only food source! There is too much “food-joy” in the world to not ignore! 😉 😛

  3. The baby food diet actually makes sense to me as they are liquified versions of proteins. Basically they are pureed soups. I read somewhere it’s easier for your body to digest soups because it’s liquid. Plus, hopefully the manufacturer of the baby food is careful about balancing the vitamins and minerals. And you get automatic dinky portion controls. It just sounds weird. I can just imagine telling a friend, I ate babyfood for lunch.

  4. I would think that all Ms. Teigen is getting, from her licking, is an overload of lab-created salts. My diet, essentially, is whatever my body is telling me to eat and drink-nothing to excess. BTW, it has yet to tell me to eat bugs.

  5. Phew..those are some crazy diets. The only diet I’ve ever tried is Paleo. It was a couple years ago to support a friend. I’m not really into diets. I believe a balanced healthy lifestyle at all times, is the key.

  6. They have truly bizarre habits! I prefer eating a balanced diet with lots of vegetables. Though I still eat sweets and junk food once in a while to a minimum only of course. 😁

  7. That was a curious read. Licking the seasoning off is weird. Especially when it comes to Doritos. There are so many chemicals in there, that carbs are not the ones she should be worried about.

  8. This was such a fun read! I had no idea about Nicole Kidman. Oh, that Master Cleanse I tried years ago and I almost fainted on day two. It was so hard. I was exhausted half of the first day cleanse. xx 💋

  9. Bugs, now that’s nasty, I tried the liquid diet once and failed so epically at it.
    licking chips though is a weird habit too.

    I guess one has to find what really works for them and stick to it.

      My “liquid diet” was a bummer on the first day itself and that’s when I realized that I❤️❤️❤️FOOD and nothing can come between us! 😛

  10. We knew we were moderately successful with chop sticks when we could get something in. She is acting weird! 🙂 Must not be very hungry—even the Chinese will use their chop sticks to shovel the food in!
