You Survive!

iScriblr_gateway

A portal,

A door that swings both ways,

This is the gateway named "existence"..

Grinding your way through the boulevard of torn dreams,

Reclaiming each possibility,

Fighting all odds boldly,

You survive.

This post is written in response to OctPoWriMo Challenge – where you’ll write a “POEM” everyday for 31 days, using the prompt word. Follow this link to learn more about it, see other submissions, and to share your own. Come and join in the fun folks!

Day 25 word prompt is “THE DOOR GOES BOTH WAYS!”

Suggested Form – Triquain.

The Triquain, created by Shelley A. Cephas, is a poem with several creative variances and can be a rhyming or non-rhyming verse. The simplest form is a poem made up of 7 lines with 3, 6, 9, 12, 9, 6, and 3 syllables.

As always any feedback and advise is more than appreciated!
