THREE THINGS ABOUT ME

I’m a highly sensitive person. My tear-ducts are in my heart!
I am the “crazy animal woman” that the world talks about! (Believe me, it’s not even funny!)
3 I have a total of 12+ years of work experience before I settled for a “be at home” life! (Wonder how old does this make me, eh?)

HERE ARE THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ASKED BY RORY

1 Are we truly alone in the Universe?

Alone, NOT! Haven’t you heard about the various “encounters” with the unknown? Even though the “scientific brains” in me tells me otherwise, I still like to believe that “THEY” exist! *waiting for a contact*

2 Only 5% of the ocean is explored meaning that 95% is uncharted territory – so? What’s down at the bottom?

Guess, a lot to explore!!!! Wonder why more men have stepped on the surface of the moon than dived into the depths of the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean, one of the deepest parts of the world’s oceans?

3 Will the governments ever truly allow a cure to be found for cancer?

That’s a touchy subject with around half of the world literally dying to find out! Honestly, in my opinion – not until the discovery of another “killer disease” to en-cash on.

4 How can we solve the global population problem?

Better net and cell phone reception (to keep ’em busy!)
On a serious note – a targeted, creative and ethical “family planing program” that includes – education, awareness, women empowerment, providing people with economic opportunities and other social initiatives, which undoubtedly can go a long way in reducing birth rates across the world.

5 Fountains of youth and magical elixirs don’t exist apparently – so the biggest mystery of all is could we or can we live forever?

They DON’T???? *refuses to believe you* Have you seen Cheryl Tiegs? Lol.

HERE ARE THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ASKED BY TANVIR

1 What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?

I am still struggling with it!!!! “How to add a re-blog tab on my blog!” Since I am a self hosted blogger (wordpress.org) I sadly DO NOT have the privilege to “flaunt!”

2 Introduce the readers about your blog?

An Army brat, gastronome, absurd, an animal lover, health freak, married and delightful – This is ME for you and at iScriblr, I blog my passion!
I have a tag line too –

“Welcome to “my world” – where the words are fancy and the heart is honest!”

3 On a scale 1-10 how strict are/were your parents?

There were days when the strictness levels were 10. (My dad’s an army-officer!) *buckle up little solider*

4 Tell 3 things you remember about your kindergarten?

Fun, frolic and friends! Ah, what days!

5 Which historical figure you like to be?

Many!!!! Helen Keller for her valiance, Joan of Arc for her guts, Mother Teresa for her heart and Maya Angelou for her undying spirit.

HERE ARE THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ASKED BY INGRID

1 What’s your favorite thing to do in Summer?

Swimsuits and pool time! I am a shameless “full-time” water baby in summers!

2 What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

Let no-one or nothing dull your shine, ever!

“Let your light shine today, and let your personality blossom, too. You don’t have to be a people-pleaser, just a people-lover.”
Beth Moore

3 What do you do for self-care?

Good food, great thoughts and excellent sleep with a morning routine of walk/cardio – are the 4 most important things that I religiously indulge in everyday to maintain my sanity.

4 What’s your favorite social media account and why?

My vote goes to Pinterest. It’s got it all – inspirational/motivational quotes, DIY ideas, ifs and whys, how’s and when’s plus amazing photos!

5 What inspired you to blog?

Some random thoughts, a husband to technically assist me in setting up my website, lose time and years of yearning to write = iScriblr was born!
To be honest, writing always has been very close to my heart. When conversations failed, I wrote! It has been my “happy place” where I can express myself freely without being judged or belittled. Post quitting my job of 10+ years and finally being able to get some time for myself – blogging was the obvious next step towards “my freedom to expression.” Also, what’s knowledge if you haven’t shared it, when you had the chance?

Thank you so much for this wonderful nomination Rory, Ingrid and Tanvir. It is super stupendous to be y’all’s WordPress comrade!
