Last Burger On Earth!

Hey everyone! I hope y’all have had a wonderful weekend?

It’s been a while that I have written about my travel antics and reviews on restaurants and eating joints. Ah, the scorching summers!!! *huffs and puffs*
Well thankfully the “Weather Gods” took some mercy and it rained this weekend, instilling in us a desire to step out of our homes and spend some quality time canvassing the city, which obviously included FOOD! And look what we found – a place called – LBOE aka Last Burger On Earth!

WINNER (in the burger category) at the World Food Championships in Orange Beach, Alabama, with competitors from 43 states and 14 countries competing in the various categories – LBOE was for sure, on top of our “to-visit” list and I am glad that we were able to witness the “deliciousness” first hand!
Home of the best burgers in Memphis, LBOE is known to serve up burgers the old-fashioned way – using fresh, never frozen ground beef and turkey, and the highest quality veggie patties and infusing a modern twist with some great flavor combos.  Hand made to order, the super succulent burgers at LOBE are indeed one of the yummiest burgers that we’ve ever had! *slurps*

Food/Drinks ordered – EL DIABLO BURGER (spicy as hell!), MUSHROOM MELT BURGER with FRIES, a pack of LOCAL CHIPS and ICED TEA.

EL DIABLO BURGER – Pepper Jack cheese, sauteed habanero, Serrano and Jalapeno peppers, avocado ranch, lettuce and tomato.

MUSHROOM MELT BURGER – Havarti cheese, White American cheese, sauteed mushrooms.

With menu so galore and varied, there is something to relish and devour for everyone. Trust me, for vegetarians like us, it is such a relief to find a good eating joint that offers vegetarian options in Memphis, that are both delectable and satisfying, and LBOE was able to hit that spot right for us! The EL DIABLO BURGER (my favorite) was an absolute BOMB – hot and fiery, perfect for the so-called “fire-eaters” like me. The MUSHROOM MELT BURGER on the other hand was super gooey and tasted just the way it should have – flatteringly soft and drippy! Our server was great too and did an awesome job refilling our iced teas regularly. *wink wink*
Overall, it was an amazing experience with both our burgers tasting awesome and we really had a great time. Needless to say, I think that we might have just found our “burger heaven” in Memphis! Only wish – if the “wait time” could be a little lesser. (Our orders took forever to come to the table!)

  1. I chose Arcade Restaurant for my Memphis lunch, last Monday. Will have to take in LBOE, for at least one of my meals, next time I’m out that way. Arcade feels like home, though.

    1. Ooo.. Ok.. I haven’t yet tried the Arcade – hopefully soon!😊

Oh yes, you must – specially if you are a non-vegetarian!😉

  2. I’m glad you had a fun outing, I’m not a burger girl (only if it’s a nice clean veggie burger as I’m vegan). However, thank you for sharing your adventure because it sounds like you had fun! 🙂

    1. Aww.. Thank you so much!❤
I am a vegetarian (and not a vegan) and it actually gets quite difficult to get something to eat that suits your style (esp here in Memphis) – I am glad this place happened! 😉

      1. I know what you mean, everyone I know (friends co-workers, family) are like where to do you go when you eat out. Honestly, I don’t go out much. Partially because of being vegan and there not being too many vegan/gluten-free food option available, but also because I have a lot of other food allergies.

        1. Oh.. Food allergies are a bummer! 🙁
I agree, we NEED more vegan/gluten-free options, specially since more and more people are inclining towards that direction.

    1. Hahaha.. I’m sure you have many options where you live. Healthy ones at that one! 😉
This post is specially for people like me who live in places like I do! Lol.. 😛

        1. Haha.. ME! Lol 😉 😛

On a serious note – for music (jazz n’ blues), food (it’s the barbecue capital of the world), Elvis Presley and Jack Daniels Distillery! 🙂

          1. Aha. See that is the perilous outcome of taking to an intelligent blogger. The food, the place and you combination will be stellar for sure 😊😜 I am coming soon. Will keep you posted. Don’t shy away then 😄

          2. That’s gonna be awesome! Holler me once you conceptualize your plans!🙋

Thank you so much. You are way too kind!❤️

  3. Oh my that looks delicious and I love spicy hot food. One of these days I’m just going to do a food tour of all the places I’ve seen on blogs and Instagram!

    1. Thanks much!❤️

Well, you’ll have to come to Memphis, Tennessee to get the taste of this gorgeous burger!😊
(The competition was in Orange Beach)🙋

  4. I have always struggled for a good vegetarian burger here in USA. I hope I could find this place near me. Thanks for the review, it seems delicious.

    1. Likewise!!! The only place that I’ve had good “veggie” burgers was in New Orleans – proper “alu-tikki” kinds and then this place! Here’s to hoping that you find a good veggie joint in your town too! 😉

      Thanks sweetie! Appreciate it!❤

  5. I struggled to not look at that burger pic twice.* but I did anyway* Why you gotta tempt my tummy like this, 😩
now I can’t be held responsible for the eating spree I’m about to go on.

    1. Hahaha.. Save that hunger for the “cheat day” and eat all that you can/want! 😉

PS – The burgers were to die for btw! Lol 😛

      1. I’ll try me best 😉

“The burgers were to die for” that doesn’t help at all 😔 but thanks for letting me know 🙂

Ps- you know I could have sworn I saw a burger wink at me when I walked passed the restaurant today
        🙈🙉
