Hello!

Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are doing well!

I just wanted to stop by and check on y’all, coz the whole “CORONA VIRUS” thing has got me a little paranoid!

Here’s some little sunshine🌞 in the scary times of pandemic to brighten your day!

While we, the Sharma’s are carefully treading and keeping up with the news on the deadly virus, I admit and confess, the whole process has been nerve-wrecking and a little too much to handle! From unsuccessful grocery runs, empty pantries to emergency medicine stock-ups, this Mommie to a 2 month old, has had more to think and do than just toilet-paper!

On a brighter side, the whole process of “SOCIAL DISTANCING” has gotten us to spend more family-time together, since Dada is at home! Plus, it is also helping us catch up on our long list of pending chores that included –
1. SPRING CLEANING our closets!
2. Trying new RECIPES with a few successful attempts!
3. Doing the dreaded TAXES !
4. Giving FABIO the much needed bath and sprucing aka productive Doggie-time!
5. Getting up-to-date on the STAR-WARS series!
6. Looking at old photos/albums, REMINISCING the good times!

I guess, sometimes, you just have to concentrate on the silver lining, stay positive and make the most of it and go with the flow!
How are y’all keeping up with SOCIAL DISTANCING measures? Any tips and tricks? Hit me up!

PS – In another news, I am hoping to come back to blogging soon-ish! Can’t wait to write my heart out! *wink wink*

Stay safe everyone and DO NOT forget to be kind and compassionate to each other! Also, wash yo hands!

Love,

  2. Beautiful baby!

I have to do my taxes to but I think they are planning on extending everyone’s deadline in the states so fingers crossed 🙂 I’m just praying I have a job at all when this is over.
Best wishes to you and yours!

  3. Richa your baby girl is so adorable! Stay away from others until this stupid virus passes. Sleep when the baby sleeps and enjoy your time with your family!💜

  4. Hello Richa! That picture of your child is sublime and looks so peaceful.
I haven’t been blogging much either in recent months because I was sick for a time and I began working on a blanket for a my adopted niece. I’m hoping to be back by April.
To answer your question, How is social distancing working? I’d say pretty good. Heck, there’s nothing left in the supermarkets, can’t find toilet paper, people are all hiding in their homes around me, and the ones that come out to walk their doggies are the only people I see at all. LOL!
I’ll admit, I’m not scared or panicked over the Covavirus (Yet), I’ve just been precautionary when I do go out to the store, keeping my distance, wearing latex gloves, and washing my face and hands just about every chance I get. My roommate thinks it’s all BS, I just ignore her.
You gave me a good idea though… If I start my Spring cleaning I’ll be ahead of the game.
Enjoy your family time and all your happy memories and making new ones.
    Take care of yourself!!!

    1. Hope you are keeping well Beckie! It’s been a while since I got a chance to be in WP! (The baby keeps me super busy, especially with no help around).. You be safe and take good care of yourself!❤️

  5. So wonderful to hear from you Richa! Your baby is so adorable and cute..Good you are using this time for all the pending chores .Stay safe and take care

  6. What a beautiful child! I’ve been doing the rounds for hand sanitizers failing which Dettol… and Lyzol wipes… they’re all out of stock! I hope a tip the counter girl gave me holds…she said their stocks truck comes in on the afternoons of Thursday. Wish me luck 🙂 Glad you’ve got a lot of lovely things to do in the time spent at home. Take care.

  7. Beautiful baby Richa! You’re so fortunate to have so much family time together! ❤

Social distancing has made me grow closer to my family virtually. Skype, Facetime, Teams, Zoom, FB help my various groups stay united. My employer has asked me to work remotely. My gym gave me workouts to work from home. My volunteer sites asked me to stay home for the next few months. I look forward to blogging in April! I feel like I’ve stayed away for a while.

  8. Lovely to hear from you, Richa! I’ll admit, it’s all been getting to me far more than I realised. So many emotions. And so much to do.. you saying about those unsuccessful shopping trips makes me realise that’s where I’ve been spending too much time. Despite needing to be on lockdown, I’ve been out more in this past week than I have the past six months trying to get essentials for me and my elderly parents because of all the empty shelves, then trying to run errands in town (library, prescriptions, bills). There’s a lot to think about, and that’s without a little bubba to take care of!

Hopefully – and this is what I’m keeping my fingers crossed for – the busy-ness will subside, people will realign with what’s really important (family, health, safety), the panic buying selfishness will stop, and we can take a moment to breathe. My heart aches for so many people right now, but it makes me so grateful for what I do have and the small joys. Take good care of yourself – I hope you and your family stay safe and well and that you manage to get all of the essentials you need  ♥

    Caz xx

I pray the peace of God enveloping all that is yours…breathe, guard your thoughts and find joy in the gift of your precious loved ones. ~Storm
