Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are having a wonderful day! Welcome to the WEEK 15 of “FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION” Challenge! *Happy Thursday*

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

Every Thursday, I will pick up a “prompt word” to be acted upon by y’all. You are free to go wild with your imagination and interpret the “prompt” in any way that you like – photo, prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, quotes, articles or drawing/painting – whatever works for you!
In short, it’s all about you being the BOSS and choosing the best way possible to express and depict your understanding of the prompt and go berserk!

TOPIC FOR TODAY : COMMITMENT

Here’s my take on it –

iScriblr_commitment

“Freedom is not the absence of commitments, but the ability to choose – and commit myself to – what is best for me.”
Paulo Coelho

“The level of success you achieve will be in direct proportion to the depth of your commitment.”
― Roy T. Bennett

“If we commit ourselves to one person for life, this is not, as many people think, a rejection of freedom; rather, it demands the courage to move into all the risks of freedom, and the risk of love which is permanent; into that love which is not possession but participation.”
Madeleine L’Engle

“Without commitment, you cannot have depth in anything, whether it’s a relationship, a business or a hobby.”
Neil Strauss

iScriblr_commitment

“To say that one waits a lifetime for his soulmate to come around is a paradox. People eventually get sick of waiting, take a chance on someone, and by the art of commitment become soulmates, which takes a lifetime to perfect.”
― Criss Jami, Venus in Arms

So there you have it folks – my understanding of the word COMMITMENT.

Well friends, what do you translate COMMITMENT as? Does it make you think of the times that the COMMITMENT wasn’t enough? Or does it remind you of a COMMITMENT that was too easy to let go off? Hit me up and share!

  1. You’re totally right with that word! Without commitment, there’s no goal to fulfill. Guilty! 😜 I’m procrastinating with a project. 😁

Enjoy your time with your hubby! Happy anniversary again! Spread that love. ❤️🌹

  2. Great topic, love your quotes! 😊 ❤️
There are so many things in life that require true commitment and dedication that people people don’t always go into with the full concept of the word…not to say commitments are always easy. As usually they are challenging and require consistent work and effort, but if we’re truly willing to actually commit it can be so rewarding.❤️

    1. I so agree to what you’ve said Jenna! Yes, it’s indeed a constant effort!😊

Thank you so much sweetie for taking out the time to read!❤️

  3. I read many other things about this but what you put together here is really original and opens other perspectives! Well done!

  4. Wow, talk about “timing is everything.” I’m going to drop out of a group I belong to because I now know that I’m not committed to it. I’m really not. I’ve been committed to other things and clearly see the difference. This came at the perfect moment. How cool is that!
