  1. 1994! was there even internet back then?
and on #6, half of those 2/3 start a new blog – i read once that half of the bloggers who stop blogging do so to start a new one. i wish i could remember the source , but that was a while back.

  2. 1994, that is early. I had (don’t laugh..or laugh if you want…) a “snowboard blog” for a short while back in 1997. I was in senior high school, and did it as a project for a computer class I took. Have an awesome new week!

    1. Oh wow, 1997! And “snowboard blog” for sure sounds super cool! (Not laughing at all!)❤

Thanks much! You too have a blessed week!😊

  3. Wonderful and helpful facts! 5. Is probably the most challenging for most individuals, including me. 😣 However, as you said consistency is key….which I’ve been working hard to maintain at least 2-3 posts per week. 😊 yep perseverance at work.😁😉❤️

    1. Ikr! Tbh, it’s the same with me – There are days when you just don’t feel like writing anything and no, it is not a writer’s block.😣 But yeah, I have been trying to post as regular as I can and yes, it is a continuous process! 😉

Thank you so much for taking the time out to read!❤️

      1. Yes definitely!😁😉 My brain was honestly tired and resisting most of my efforts to write or draw this weekend. It’s definitely also important to listen to our bodies and take a rest from time to time so our content is fresh and high quality.😁😊❤️
        You’re welcome, it’s always a pleasure! 🌹❤️😊

  4. This was a very wonderful and interesting post! I think adding photos to posts is great to do because it seems to draw people in! I can say that in over a year since I have had my blog, I have only updated it a couple times. I think it might be a good idea to give it a slight update to make it look a little different!!

    1. I am glad this resonated with you. I agree, photos are an excellent way to invite some interest!
Also, I think that updating your blog every once a while goes a long way in keeping it “chick” and up-to-date.

    1. Tbh, I think it all depends on what our main “motive” of starting a blog is! And as per me, this fact (4) is usually for the so called “professional” bloggers, trying to make money or for “corporate” blogs aiming at customer interaction. But yeah, that’s just my thought! 😉

  5. Hey Richa , Totally loved it ..you presented all the informative facts in an interesting and easy to read manner ..I love the way you write …It provokes you , to read it till the last word ..Keep on sharing ..I love your blogposts personally 💓✨

  6. Nice share, thanks for going all googly! Thanks for knowledge shared, my power is indeed multiplied! And it’s not shameful, you’re dispersing knowledge, The power comes back to you, your heart is also being multiplied! 😊👌🏽

  7. Good stuff kid! I think you’re creative juices are flowing pretty well again. I am surprised that the research material you used said nothing about having a well thought out, written about page, I tend to find most of the consistent views I get is on my “about” page. I also tend to follow more bloggers who have interests, a life story, and beliefs and other things that we share in common. 😘💕

    1. There were about 101 “blogging” facts that I chose these 7 from! Hehe.. There was just too much data to be processed! 😉 😛

I agree about the “common” interest part.. In fact, I think it’s quite necessary to build a communal relationship and loyalty in the blogging world.❤

Thank you so much for taking the time out to read, appreciate it a lot!❤

  8. I may not post every day, when I am working and not traveling, but I have a lot of content in my head, so the post drought is bound to end, shortly. I do skim at least 43 % of my reader, though.

    1. It happens to the best of us, specially for the ones who are not full-time bloggers. I guess, posting 2-3 times a week is fair enough to keep the in-flow of view happening! 🙂

      Thanks for reading!❤

  9. Thank you for sharing this insightful post! You’re amazing always, dear! ❤️ I have to agree with # 6 & 7. I am always wondering where are they now. And we know who’s skimming! Right? Hehe

  10. Such an interesting post; I’m not surprised it caught your attention as it caught mine too so thank you for sharing those I tetering points!
I’ve been blogging (mainly my writing journey) for ten months now and occasionally I become obsessed with finding new followers and increasing the numbers, then I swing back to wanting to engage with original followers because I’ve missed the interaction with them! It’s like a marriage with wordpress – takes time and commitment 😂😍🥂

    1. Hahaha.. I totally agree to the “marriage” part – The love-hate relationship kinds! 😉 😛

I am so glad that this post resonated with you. Thanks for stopping by!❤

  11. This is very interesting! I am definitely failing in a number of these. The social media blogs, at least Instagram: some people write “blog” in their profile but it’s not really. Some of them hardly write captions.

    1. You are an “INSTA- STAR” Aixa – and I really am amazed by the kind of pictures and information that you share there!❤

I guess, blogging is a little more time consuming plus needs a little more effort to maintain. It is indeed a commitment that takes more than just time. 😉

  12. I didn’t realize pics make double the views. I’ve noticed it is faster to pick up followers on Instagram so maybe it’s because it’s a pic-oriented medium

  13. I’m a researchaholic so I love lists like this! 😊 I especially agree with Fact 1 on your list. Pictures say a thousand words.
