Word!

iScriblr_india

Well, even though this post of mine is inspired by the recent events occurring between India and Pakistan, the “words” hold true for any nation in any continent – no matter how developed, or developing! It breaks my heart to see how “political influence/inclination” surpasses one’s judgement of what’s right and wrong. In all honesty (and just to be clear), I am not the “political” kinds and have zero to none political inclination towards one (or any) “wing!” But when it comes to the honor of “men in uniform” – It gets a little too much for me to handle and hence this “gyan!”

I hope we realize the consequences of our words and action and start to look at life in a better light and give the “due” where required. Everything does not demand scrutiny and hatred, specially not the ones who are sacrificing their all for YOU!

Hoping for ONE “RESPECTFUL” WORLD!

Love,

      Thanks S!🙏🙏

  1. Well said. It’s an atrocity when countries are at war. Political differences are one of the reasons some go to war and definitely a cause for civil conflict. My heart goes out to all those who lose in wars that should never be.

  2. I agree… people are so caught up in their political beliefs nowadays that they forget the people caught in the middle fighting so that we can enjoy the lives that we have. Our people in uniform truly get the low end of the stick when it comes to politics… kind of damned if they do, damned if they don’t. I personally think these political parties divide us. Why can’t we be human beings with our own beliefs and not be segregated because of them? Really awesome and thought-provoking post!

  3. Wonderful thought and advice. Those who serve their nation primarily do so to serve a cause greater than themselves – to help protect those they serve and to further the nation’s national defense. Of course there are various thoughts but I agree with you. Particularly in the U.S., the members of the Armed Forces are apolitical. They have personal feelings, of course, but they cannot be political in their outward thoughts or actions. Those who still serve actively follow the orders of the duly elected leadership in respective positions, who are supposed to serve on behalf of the citizens. Sorry to get lengthy here. Thanks again. 🙂

          1. Yes indeed. Thank you and your family for the dedication and sacrifices. I glad I had the opportunity to serve for a career. Some may not realize that military service works toward peace through strength. 🙂❤️

  4. Beautiful message! ♥️ Unfortunately, the easiest way to get people to vote for you is through fear and anger…

  6. Yes, I had much older friends who went to Vietnam, I opposed the war but not the poor devils in uniform who were sent by our leaders, wasn’t their choice and I don’t see that we should mock or vilify those who serve. If we are to critique (as opposed to mock) then critique the politicians who get us into wars.

    1. You are so right and I am complete agreement to what you’ve said. Wish there were more people like you around!🙏🙏

  7. I agree with everything you say here. Thank you for speaking out on this. Their job is supremely important and everyone should know!
