5 Shades of M·A·C (My Top 5 Favorite Lipstick Shades)

Festivities! Family dinners! Cozy colors! Warm decor! There is so much to love about fall! It is the season of gorgeous “fall colors” and everything delightful. This is the time when you look your “wonderful you” in your warm cashmere (flaunting your bewitching fall lip shades!)

As much as I appreciate and love the “girl next door” simple-nude look, I can’t deny how much fun it is to get all dolled up,every once a while. A hint of kohl, some mascara and bright lips – you are all set to dash-off the “Look Of Fall”! Also, buying a new lipstick is an effortless, easy and cost-effective way to augment your look for this season! Its simple, yet adequate.

Here’s a list of my 5 favorite M·A·C shades –

Instigator – Deep blackened plum [Matte] – This shade is the boldest of the batch! While this is definitely not the shade for everyone, it is unique and unusual. You can try this when you’re in the mood for something new. Flattering and sexy, Instigator sure does live up-to its name!

Ruby Woo – Very matte vivid blue-red [Retro Matte] – This is one of the most perfect of Red lipsticks of all times. Aptly reviewed by one of its users as, “When you wear this color, you have to OWN this color” – Ruby Woo is not for the faint-hearts! Perfect for romantic dates, evening dinners and bold night-outs, it is a must have this season.

Lady Danger – Vivid bright coral-red [Matte] – The iconic product that made M·A·C famous! With a warm orange finish, this shade sure is a show stopper. Perfect for any skin shade, Lady Danger is a “must have” that can amplify any look. Ultra creamy and color packed, this shade is meant to add that extra glamour to your LBD (Little Black Dress)!

Please Me – Muted-rosy-tinted pink [Matte] – This shade is excellent for the “not so bold-ones”. (Yes, fall doesn’t have to be all dark colors and bright always!) This color is sweet, feminine and perfect for day wear. Please Me, sure shall please you!

Mehr – Dirty blue pink [Matte] – This is more of a pink-brownish color, ideal for family brunches and casual dinners. It is classy, girlish and pink! Perfect for classy Indian skin tones, Mehr is my go-to lipstick! Classic and ever-green this shade is sure one of my best buys from M·A·C. It is one of the hottest selling shades and a must grab before the inventory closes!

Whether it is date night, a casual family dinner or a formal night out, these lip shades are sure to make some heads turn! Remember, everyone will be donning something just as bold, so choosing something a little more daring than your “typical going out” look will fit right in this season.
