This week, sadly, we say goodbye to the Weekly Photo Challenge by WordPress! (Sad but true!) From December 2nd, 2017 till today – some wonderful memories, a handful of fabulous photos and a chance of meeting umpteen “talented” bloggers from around the world – this ride has been more than fun! Presenting to you all, some of my “ALL-TIME FAVORITES” from the WPC Challenge!
“I thought I was stronger than a word, but I just discovered that having to say goodbye to you is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.” ― Colleen Hoover
My first ever post for WPC! (Dated – Dec 2nd, 2017 ) Clicked at the Mississippi River Park, Memphis – this photo speaks a thousand words. It is fascinating to notice the colors, patterns and the characteristic blueprints of Mother Nature. The dramatization of the skies, calmness of the Mississippi river and the vastness of the magnificent world that we live in, makes us so microscopic and meager. Undoubtedly, “nature therapy” is the best way to unwind and unravel the mysteries of trials and tribulations. When the nature “talks” and you “listen” – there is calmness, harmony and contentment. Hail Earth Mother! Hail Gaia!
“When pain brings you down, don’t be silly, don’t close your eyes and cry, you just might be in the best position to see the sun shine.” ― Alanis Morissette
“In every out-thrust headland, in every curving beach, in every grain of sand there is the story of the earth.” ― Rachel Carson
