Power Of Speech

iScriblr_powerOfSpeech

Hey Everyone! How you doin’? Well, I am back! *happy happy dance*

Don’t know if you’d noticed but I was gone from the blogosphere for almost 6 days and it felt like an eternity! *sob sob*
Bad allergies, high temperature, body aches and troubled respiration – Ah, poor me and my feeble immunity. Post a high dose of antihistamines, corticosteroids, decongestants and a “cheerless” weekend, that just passed by miserably – I am slowly making my way to recovery, hoping to get better soon! *fingers crossed* And, here’s me getting back to do what I love the most – killing the blues with some Real Talk and INSPIRATION!

While I was recuperating (with ample time to while away), I stumbled upon a wonderfully simple, yet profound quote –

“The words you speak become the house you live in.”
Hafiz

And this got me into thinking about the “power” that our words possess! Words, conversations, communication, discussions – different names, but the same building blocks of the reality that – we are constantly co-creating, co-generating. Yes, everything begins with a word and the “force” it demonstrates!

FACTS

In an interesting study done to decipher the impact of thoughts and words by Bruce Lipton, the famous cellular biologist – it’s been revealed that virtually every one of our cellular functions is impacted by the electromagnetic fields (the invisible energy forces) produced by our thoughts and words. Called “The Wisdom of Your Cells” – This new biology takes us from the belief that we are victims of our genes, that we are biochemical machines, that life is out of our control, into another reality, a reality where our thoughts, beliefs and mind control our genes, our behavior and the life we experience.
In short, each statement that we announce has a life of its own, a “vibratory signature” that creates “waves” into the expanse of the universe – instigating, effecting, channeling.

And yet, there are so many times that we say something without even realizing the influence and the potency that the words bear! *bitter truth*

GOOD NEWS

Yes, a content, happy life is just a few “words” away!

Considering the “powerful force” of the words we utter, and the influence it has on us and on those around us – we MUST consciously discipline ourselves to speak in a way that conveys respect, gentleness and humility (inside-out). Well, who would want to live in a house full of pessimism, despair, desperation and complains? I know, I wouldn’t!
It is indeed critical for us to be mindful of how we are composing our “life-scripts” with our words, and the first step towards achieving this “life-changing transformation” is to be aware and attentive of our verbal responses. Remember, if we are unconscious of the power of our words, we run the risk of creating a noisy disturbance, a mindless disorder – liked by none!

So, the next time you open your mouth to complain or put yourself or others down, ask yourself –

“Why am I about to say this?”
“How is this going to serve me or my happiness?”

And if the answer doesn’t satisfy your “mindfulness”, reform your words and change the way that you perceive and say things! Choose the words that you speak consciously and practice improved self-awareness over the words that you use to describe yourself and your life. Avoid negative, powerless words such as ‘can’t’, ‘shouldn’t’, ‘need’, ‘won’t’ as they strip you of your ability to manifest a life that you want to live, instead regain control and frame your word choices so that they have a much more positive impact on you and your world.

Always speak from a place of love, for yourself, for your life and for others. Your words equal your world, so use them wisely!

“Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.”
Yehuda Berg

Here’s to a “house” full of self-belief, compassion and courtesy! Cheers!

Love,

I totally agree with your post. I know of someone who used to complain about money. Her life was hard because that’s what she was thinking. And to think that she has enough to live but she wanted more. When she changed her attitude, her life is not miserable anymore.

I couldn’t agree more. WORDS are a very powerful tool in life. & we have the option to either speak ourselves into all things bright and positive in life or literally shoot ourselves in the foot by simply uttering the wrong kind of words.

Great post oh wise one ❤️
