Soar Away
Breaking away from the shackles of judgement,
She etched for herself a luminous future.
Enveloping her righteous heart, she swaddled her faith,
She emerged a winner, a fearless figure.
Believing in her sense of worth,
She breached the confines of failure.
She cracked the doors to self-exuberance,
She broke free, she got herself the "closure".
New year, new beginnings,
She had a brand new "face-off" to look forward to.
With untrodden pathways, unknown boundaries,
She was now endowed, she was anew.
No fear, no antipathy,
Could now annihilate her indomitable spirit.
She was the master of her own fate,
She aimed to soar, her sky could no cynic limit!
Back To Blogging
Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are doing wonderful! HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Look who’s back! *dabs like a boss*
YES folks, iScriblr is up and running (though in all honesty, I’m still wreathing under massive “vacation-aftermath!” LOL!)
Ah, the last few weeks have been amazingly blissful and superbly exciting; and even though I’ve had the BEST time of my life, it feels good to be back home!
Can’t wait to share with y’all my “Wedding Shenanigans” and “Travel Memoirs”! But then, you’ll have to wait for a few days before you get an “all-access” pass to my travel diaries – since there is a lot to collate and loads of pictures to sort from!
Winter Break!
Hey everyone! HAPPY SUNDAY y’all!
Guess what folks! It’s VACATION TIME! Well, finally the “dry travelling spell” has broken and I’m going home (after almost 2 long years!) *happy dance*
Keeping in mind that my presence on blogosphere will be sporadic and I will not be able to post anything for a couple of weeks (since I have a bad habit of not scheduling), and also because I will be so caught up “deriving pleasure from” a BIG FAT INDIAN WEDDING – This post is just to let you all know that I shall be back soon to do the “regular bingeing and commenting!”
Please do not give up on me and keep that LOVE coming! I shall try to look you guys up whenever I get the time! *I promise*
Friday Follies : Empty Dogs!
Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are doing wonderful!
Welcome to Episode 1.4 of Proscenium’s Photo Challenge : Friday Follies! Well, another day and another fun photography challenge! *woot woot*
Here’s my take on “finding the funny in the mundane!”
Clicked randomly while on our regular evening walkies with Miss Hazel (my boxer dog) in India – I couldn’t help but notice the earnestness of this street sign that read “PLEASE DO NOT EMPTY YOUR DOG HERE!” Err.. Looks like the sign-maker took the instructions quite literally. Or, ummm.. may be the “Hindi to English” translation did not go as planned! *wink wink*
Whatever said and done, I guess the point to not “empty” your dog outside someone’s house is well made and spot on!

Naked Truth!
Hey Everyone! I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend!
It’s time to kill the “Monday Blues” with some Real Talk and SELF REALIZATION!
While I was callously looking around for something “substantial” to read on FaceBook this weekend (wonder what are the chances of dong that! LOL!), I stumbled across a captivating story about “NAKED TRUTH” by John Van Zeist. Predictably (without a doubt), as soon as I read the story, I had a deep urge inside of me to share it on my blog – for y’all to read. Because YES in all honesty, this story really-really hits home for all of us!
TRIGGER WARNING – This article, or the page that it links to, contains an image that might be unacceptable to some. I apologize, but “blurring” out the image did not feel quite right as I wanted this post to be as true as the original one, without any reformations and fixings.

Ugly Dolls – Three Line Tales
"One ticket please" muttered Betty nervously, pointing out at the train schedule with her trembling little fingers; her voice as precarious as her irresolute future, her "despicable-ugly" face hidden behind a frail veil. "You goin' to Uglyville, eh?" mocked the indifferent conductor; seemingly cognizant of the new legislation passed by the King about all the unwanted-redundant "Ugly Dolls" of the town. Betty nodded a desperate yes, as she grasped the "one-way ticket" to her deliverance; a ticket to a hopeful place where weirdness is celebrated, strangeness is special and beauty is embraced as more than what meets the eye!
