Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are having a wonderful day! Welcome to the WEEK 13 of “FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION” Challenge! *Happy Thursday*
Every Thursday, I will pick up a “prompt word” to be acted upon by y’all. You are free to go wild with your imagination and interpret the “prompt” in any way that you like – photo, prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, quotes, articles or drawing/painting – whatever works for you!
In short, it’s all about you being the BOSS and choosing the best way possible to express and depict your understanding of the prompt and go berserk!
Breaking doors, looting riches; they were the infamous "partners" in crime, Notorious for evading arrests; many establishments did they burglarize, For 10 years they snaked perspicaciously; their heists were the talk of the town; Until one fine day, Judas was caught and the 2-person gang was brought down. People wondered, deputies speculated - how did the tables turn around? Did someone snitch or was it Matthew who two-timed!
Teasing my senses, He melts me like an ice pop, My man knows magic!
Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are doing wonderful!
Welcome to Episode 2.4 of Proscenium’s Photo Challenge : Friday Follies! YASS!!! A fun photography challenge on WordPress! *woot woot*
Here’s my take on “finding the funny in the mundane!”
My “time” on social media got me to another fun photo of a pretty “sensible” road sign. *wink wink*
Considering the shift of the “freezing” polar vortex towards the US (starting today) – I guess, this road sign does impart an important piece of information for all dog owners/lovers and the other “adventurous” souls who like to “play” in the snow.
Winter Advisory – “All that’s white is necessarily not just snow!”
Hey Everyone! I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend! It’s time to kill the “Monday Blues” with some Real Talk!
Have you ever tied to explain why you didn’t, couldn’t, shouldn’t or just wouldn’t do something? In all honesty, I have! (and a lot many times than once!) Fear of failure, worrying about added responsibilities, perceived lack of self belief and confidence, fear of change – the reasons are abundant and varied, paralyzing us and leaving us stranded in a “no man’s land!” Believe me when I say that all of this negative self talk gets us nowhere. Broken dreams, crippled self-esteem, fragmented hope – the damage is more than you can account for!
Excuses, people – can be a very dangerous thing; pretty intense – as it holds us back and leaves us stuck in a vicious cycle of deferment and delay.
“Life” is an uphill task, with numerous competitions, challenges, disputes, threats and tests. Yes, it is a constant fight to exist; yes, the roads are tough; yes, it means business and only the fittest survive. But then, guess what? Breaking away from the continuous cycle of blame and excuse is not IMPOSSIBLE! To get the results that you desire, you HAVE to ditch the excuses and here’s how “info-graphically” –
Hey Everyone! Tashi Delek!
It’s time for the much awaited “travelling updates” and stories of my recent voyaging! Hope you all are as excited about it, as me?
I begin my “virtual tour” of our 20 days and 6 cities trip to India by talking about FOOD! (Yup, once a foodie, always a foodie!)
Well, we kick started our journey by parking our taste buds at a “small wonder” called Norling Restaurant located in McLeodGanj, which is a quaint-little suburb in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Also known as “Little Lhasa” or “Dhasa” (a short form of Dharamshala used mainly by Tibetans) – it is the headquarters of The Tibetan government-in-exile and official residence for His Holiness Dalai Lama. Known worldwide as a destination for ecotourism, meditation and spiritual studies McLeodGanj for sure is more than what meets the eye! It’s a foodies’ paradise too!
Known as one of the BEST places to devour authentic Tibetan food in entire India, as recommended in the “renowned” TV program Highway On My Plate, Norling Restaurant, hence seemed just fitting to be at and explore. Located in the corner of the downtown market, it’s a nice “cozy” place to try out Tibetan cuisine. Nothing upscale or fancy – just plain, simple “delicious” food!
Food/Drinks ordered – A bowl of THUPKA, a Chicken THENTUK NGOPA or ” Tso-Menphen”, a single TINGMO, and spinach MOMOS washed down with KOMBUCHA SYMBIOTIC DRINK in Hibiscus and Mint Rosemary flavors.
