From Fable To Feeble

iScriblr_love

Once upon a time there was a girl,
Who believed in the transcendental power of love.
Counting upon the million mystical galaxies every night,
Fanciful fantasies of yearning she wove.

Presuming the world to be her safe haven,
She embraced and hailed all women and men.
Selflessly loving all with a heart so pure,
She was in its true sense a fervent Zen.

Expecting reciprocation of her feelings,
She looked upon every single one with equal fairness.
With a soul so beautifully sanctimonious,
She was an unmistakable epitome of sunny brightness.

Spreading jubilation and laughter everywhere she yode,
Her "happy ever after" she did foresee.
Consigning to oblivion, unsighted,
She forgot, this is all just a figment of her imaginary.

This world is no dewy-eyed fairy-tale,
And she was not some Cinderella, not even an enchantress.
The human race is not what she thinks to be,
It is but a congregation of dejection, resentment and bitterness.

Melancholy, with a feeble heart she now survives,
Baring her beaten soul for everyone to see,
Waking up to the brusque reality of life,
That girl is you, that girl is me!

  2. This world is no dewy-eyed fairy-tale” you can say that again

That girl is all of us.

Now why does this world work the other way around… such a graceful start to the believe of pure goodness and love in mankind only to dejected like so #sounfair.

I hope she finds a much better ending in the future 🙂
