Dare To Survive
Endless tribulations could not dissuade her ingenuity, Countless torments made her wise, Committing herself to the greater heights, Fighting worldly battles, she survived. Believing in herself, her untiring might, She reclaimed all prosaic possibilities, Rising above countless paroxysms, She soared, she arose against each untold adversities. No hostility can bring her down any more, In ceaseless opportune moments she affirms, Wading her way through back-breaking challenges, In here amaranthine resilience she fathoms. Her self-worth is her prized possession, She's determined to "win" in life, No lies, no heartbreaks, no dejection can waver her faith, For a "gratified consciousness" she now strives. "Life is a constant struggle" of that she is well aware, But would a life be life in entity, if she didn't even dare?

The Pink Kind Of Love
If we could buy love, I would pick me up a bright pink one, The one with frills, meshes and laces, And a hint of shimmering-sunny ribbons. I would forever carry that love in my heart, For precious to me it will be, No, I would not, never trade it, On him I'll never cheat. Flaunting my peachy love around, I will bask in the righteous glory of pride, Wearing my love on my sleeves, I promise, I'll do him good till I die. Such love is complicated to find, No stores in stock have it any more, No burgundies, no maroons will my heart mend, Only the pink ones have my cure. If you happen to find my "pink" love, Will you keep it safe for me? Tell him that I loved him, I am sorry, together we couldn't be!

True Colors
How often do we find ourselves doing things just because we have to and not because we want to? And yes, I am not talking about the hard work (desperate measures) aimed at achieving success at jobs (work place) or the obvious efforts to provide for your family. Here, I’m referring to the things we do just to please others and to project a certain image of ourselves to the world that isn’t even coherent with who we really are! How often have we worn a “mask” awaiting approval of our family, friends, colleagues or even the neighbor next door? How often have we lied to ourselves and forced ourselves into believing that we are "no good" and OTHERS are better? How often have we lived a "shallow" life, INVISIBLE to the world? Well, I ask - How can you live your best lives, when “best” is defined by someone else? Piercing my mettle, You unsee my true colors, Insensitive much! I'm more than what meets the eye, Why belittle me in vain?
