Mends Of Moments

iScriblr_poem

Time heals
Time mends
Mends a broken heart
Mends all shattered dreams
Dreams are wild
Dreams can come true
True commitment serves
True intentions do win
Win we all must
Win we have to
To live is to toil
To survive is to fall
Fall to rise up again
Fall to attain
Attain sense of worth
Attain self respect
Respect is irrefutably earned
Respect is a choice
Choice is exhilarating
Choice is always yours
Yours to dwell
Yours to implement
Implement purpose
Implement fortitude
Fortitude to survive
Fortitude to overcome
Overcome your fears
Overcome all nay sayers
Nay sayers don't matter
Nay sayers will sooner or later bite the dust
Dust your hesitations
Dust all spiritual darkness
Darkness must dwindle
Darkness will never arise
Arise yourself instead
Arise your subliminal vision
Vision to achieve
Vision to seize the day
Day breaks with inspiration
Day begins with positivism
Positivism rules over everything
Positivism reigns supreme
Supreme mindfulness
Supreme allegiance
Allegiance to your true self
Allegiance to the ruling moments
Moments make memories
Moments don't last forever
Forever..
Memories..

This post is written in response to OctPoWriMo Challenge – where you’ll write a “POEM” everyday for 31 days, using the prompt word. Follow this link to learn more about it, see other submissions, and to share your own. Come and join in the fun folks!

DAY 16 prompt is – FATHER TIME.

Free write about how you feel about time. Do you have clocks in every room? Do you find your time valuable or do you give it away to everyone else but yourself?

Poetry Form – BLITZ POETRY.

The Blitz Poem, a poetry form created by Robert Keim. This form of poetry is a stream of short phrases and images with repetition and rapid flow.
Begin with one short phrase, it can be a cliché. Begin the next line with another phrase that begins with the same first word as line 1. The first 48 lines should be short, but at least two words.
The third and fourth lines are phrases that begin with the last word of the 2nd phrase, the 5th and 6th lines begin with the last word of the 4th line, and so on, continuing, with each subsequent pair beginning with the last word of the line above them, which establishes a pattern of repetition. Continue for 48 total lines with this pattern, And then the last two lines repeat the last word of line 48, then the last word of line 47.
The title must be only three words, with some sort of preposition or conjunction joining the first word from the third line to the first word from the 47th line, in that order.
There should be no punctuation. When reading a BLITZ, it is read very quickly, pausing only to breathe.

  2. Actually… My improvised break dance alleviates a broken heart.
I offered to pay for a third of my cup of coffee in improvised jazz dance the other day and Melbourne hipsters for all their colorful ink just can’t seem to smile. Maybe when I don’t buy coffee for homeless souls I might get my own Wiley E Coyote tattoo one day.
In the meantime I just have to staple my passport to my forehead and go walking around the airport every few months.
No sleep til the bloody cat stops dancing
