Imperfectly Perfect!

iScriblr_love

As my imperfections balance your temporal disappointments,
Our shortcomings become our strength,
Together, you and me, imperfectly perfect.

Fighting life's mortal agony with all our might,
We disavow to give up this prejudiced fight,
As my imperfections balance your temporal disappointments.

Rising above our enduring abnormalities,
Blending our despicable blemishes with diligence,
Our shortcomings become our strength.

Traversing all the high and lows,
Soaring up against all mundane odds,
Together, you and me, imperfectly perfect!

This post is written in response to OctPoWriMo Challenge – where you’ll write a “POEM” everyday for 31 days, using the prompt word. Follow this link to learn more about it, see other submissions, and to share your own. Come and join in the fun folks!

Day 11 word prompt is “FALLING THROUGH THE CRACKS!”

Suggested Form – Cascade.

Cascade, a form created by Udit Bhatia, is all about receptiveness, but in a smooth cascading way like a waterfall. The poem does not have any rhyme scheme; therefore, the layout is simple. Say the first verse has three lines. Line one of verse one becomes the last line of verse two. To follow in suit, the second line of verse one becomes the last line of verse three. The third line of verse one now becomes the last line of verse four, the last stanza of the poem. Example – a/b/c, d/e/A, f/g/B, h/i/C

As always any feedback and advise is more than appreciated!
