Valentine’s Day Love featuring KomalMeansDelicate

Hello to my dear friend, Richa’s, lovely readers!

Today, I will be taking over the iScriblr blog while Richa takes over my blog!  My name is Komal Singh and I run the blog KomalMeansDelicate.com.  I blog about fashion, lifestyle and little bits of travel sprinkled in so if you’re interested in that type of content then head over to my blog.

Richa and I have been friends for quite a bit and have met through blogging (crazy).  Luckily, since we live in the same city, we were able to create a really amazing and meaningful friendship.  We had done one collaboration previously but, I wanted to do another one and push my creative side. Since Richa is an expert on poems, I decided to do a poem for her readers.  So, sit back, enjoy and be nice (my poems are nothing compared to Richa’s but I’m trying)!

Chocolate Love

Dinner and movie,

With chocolate and flowers.

Gave my love kisses.

I kept my poem simple and short as I wanted it to be a challenge for me.  Richa suggested to do a Haiku so I did one based on my favorite things about Valentine’s Day (as clique as it sounded).  Hope you all enjoyed the poem!  What’s your favorite thing about Valentine’s Day?  Let us know in the comments below!

Much love,

    1. It’s cool that y’all became friends through blogging and living near each other. That’s a coincidence that might have been unhealthy to ignore. That noted, I enjoy this faceless avatar of mine, and I don’t plan on meeting many new people in person. At least, not until the pandemic is over.

      1. Totally understandable!🙌🏼 We too have been super cautious about meeting anyone else, or going out of our houses! It’s a very personal, close knit bubble that we have and meet up with!☺️ Hopefully, life will get back to normal soon!🤞

        1. That close-knit group does sound desirable, so congrats on that! I’ve read that it will take seven more years before we reach herd immunity at the current rate of vaccination, not to be Mister Negative (a Marvel Comics supervillain). I’m just trying to share information so we can all better adapt, survive, and thrive.

  1. Wow! Nice to meet you Komal! This is such a fascinating idea to switch blogs! Well this Valentine’s Day I made 60 cards to deliver to a nursing home. The seniors haven’t had a chance to get out much, and I hope they know how much people care about them. I’ve been working with a fantastic team of people. Team work makes the dream work! 🙂
