“The longing for sweets is really a yearning for love or “sweetness.”
― Marion Woodman
About the photo –
Clicked by Nexus 6P phone (and edited by Snapseed App), on my trip to San Francisco, at the famed San Francisco Chocolate Store – these photos for me are a perfect illustration of “SWEET!”
When “sweet tooth” runs in the family, a visit to a chocolate store is inevitable, no matter which city you visit and how swamped with work you are! Monochrome candies, delicious chocolates, toothsome gummy bears, freshly made tasteful fudge, delectable candy apples, gourmet cookies, chocolate covered fruits and nuts, Ghirardelli Chocolates, mouth-watering home-made ice cream, florid jelly bellies – Yes, everything SWEET that you can imagine is get-able at this fascinating store. Dentist and waist-approved, The SF Chocolate Factory is every chocolate connoisseur’s glamorous sanctuary. Known for using only the finest quality cocoa beans, gathered and imported from three different continents and selected for consistently superior flavor, this joint is a perfect place to pick up “sweet-chocolate souvenirs” to take back home.
When the joy of eating something sweet fictionalizes the blues and the gloom, its SWEET surrender!
About the photo –
Clicked by Nexus 6P phone (and edited by Snapseed App), with my “BELOVED!”
Miss Hazel, as she is fondly called, is a boxer by breed and an absolute DIVA by nature. Ardent, dutiful, faithful, amusing, enduring and a confidant – she is a perfect companion that you can think of. No matter how heartbreaking the world is, a “man’s best friend” with it’s permutation of wet nose, wagging tail, and slobbery kisses, never lets you down! One “fetch” – and the world seems like a better place!
When love is in the mix, the need for language, and for words, dissipates. When you love and respect someone with all your being (no matter if you are a human-being or not), you don’t need to talk! You can simply live and understand, in harmony.
When it is more than just “a girl with a dog” and means so much! Me and my “BELOVED” – Hazel and ME!
“What we observe as material bodies and forces are nothing but shapes and variations in the structure of space.”

Clicked by Nexus 6P phone (and edited by Snapseed App), on my trip to Universal Studios, Orlando (Florida) – these photos for me are a perfect example of “VARIATIONS on a THEME!”
Flashy, chromatic, kaleidoscopic – a visit to a candy store is always embraced! No matter what your age is, there is something for everyone to satiate the “sweet-tooth!” Prismatic candies in every shape and color, delightful chocolates, toothsome gummy bears, freshly made tasteful fudge, delectable candy apples, gourmet cookies – Yes, the world comes to a STOP here! Undoubtedly, “Like a kid in a candy store” is more than just an expression at San Francisco Candy Factory at the Universal’s. With no fear of the high-glucose overdose, this place for sure is a concoction of varieties of flavor, color, aroma and character.
A platter of variations and versatility – that’s life! (Umm, and a candy store too!)

About the photo –
Clicked by CANON Rebel T6i (and edited by Snapseed App), while on my daily walk at the Riverfront Walking Trail, Memphis – this photo clearly depicts “SILENCE” and the need for it!
In today’s world when everything around us is so deafening and ear-splitting, SILENCE is the need of the hour. Flashy friendships, blatant relationships and clamorous associations, they all are manifestation of unnecessary chatter! With fabricated liaisons and blaring lies being omnipresent, calmness is a necessary occurrence which comes to us at a high price! Towering buildings, maddening gridlock and oh! so harried lives – has had us all so tangled, that, calmness feels awkward!
I wish for muteness! I wish for calmness! I wish for a piece of “SILENCE” to call my own!

Clicked by Nexus 6P phone (and edited by Snapseed App), on my trip to a small town called Bhangarh(in India), this photo speaks a thousand words about being “WEATHERED!”
Famous for its historical ruins, and considered to be one of India’s many haunted locations – Bhangarh (established in 1573) is an embodiment of age-long history and yesteryear. Once a town alive with people like you and me, it is now a land of relics, reminding us of an era of princely states and regal existence. From grand courtyards, abundant riches and effusive lifestyle to a wreckage that’s long forgotten, this town sermonizes the imprint of “time and tide!”
From witnessing the past to now becoming a “historical site” – Bhangarh with its legends of the antiquity, has for sure weathered!

About the photo –
Clicked by Nexus 6P phone (and edited by Snapseed App), on my trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee at the Ruby Falls – this photo, for me, highlights the process of “GROWTH.”
Depicted here in the photo is – a Stalactite(which is – an icicle-shaped formation that hangs from the ceiling of a cave, and is produced by precipitation of minerals from water dripping through the cave ceiling) and a Stalagmite(which is – an upward-growing mound of mineral deposits that have precipitated from water dripping onto the floor of a cave) – growing, drop by drop, over a million of years to form a Column, overcoming any challenges and distress thrown at them.
Resilient, irrepressible and effervescent – these so-called “rock formations” in the middle of no-where, braving through hardships and experiencing testing times, are a perfect reminder to us – to never Give Up Growing!
When you don’t wait for a perfect environment, but en-cash on the worst that the life throws at you – Growth is inevitable!
Hey everyone! It’s day 31 of the “December Photo Challenge” by Through The Eyes Of Gracie. The challenge is officially over and I can’t thank Gracie enough for this wonderful experience! (Apologies for being late by 2 days! Life’s been crazy!)
Here’s wishing you all a very happy new year! Love and light!
Here I am sharing with you all my two preferred versions of “Carol of the Bells” – The first one is from Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the other one is by Lindsey Stirling. Well, music has always resonated with me and my soul, dismissing all the negativity and the hostility around. It is my go-to thing to do whenever I am morose and bitter. No matter what and how I feel, music – always, always uplifts me to an absolute place.
Aptly said and rightly believed – “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
― Bob Marley
