Friday Follies : Shopping Spree

Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are doing wonderful!

Welcome to Episode 2.3 of Proscenium’s Photo Challenge : Friday Follies! Well, another day and another fun photography challenge! *woot woot*

Here’s my take on “finding the funny in the mundane!”
This wasn’t random! Clicked by someone else and stolen by me (on my recent trip to India, while on a crazy shopping spree) – I couldn’t help but notice “FROGS” being sold at an upscale “fashion” shop. Did I buy some? Umm.. How could I not!!!!! *wink wink*
Looks like a perfect case of “misinterpretation” or was it a deliberate attempt to tickle some funny bones? (Your guess is as good as mine!)

“Sir.. May I have one FROG please.. The one which is the prettiest!”

Friday Follies – is a weekly photography challenge hosted by Proscenium, where he is looking for submissions of any kind of sign, flyer, ad etc.. that you may see posted or printed or whatever/wherever, that would, might or might not, be intentional or unintentionally, a mistake or could be interpreted the wrong way, misspelled, be a double entendre or just outright hilarious. They could even be video clips from TV that you happen to caught on DVR! Sounds fun, right!
Follow this link to learn more about it, see other submissions, and to share your own. Come and join in the fun folks!

Love,

  1. Very funny. Something lost in translation perhaps. Many years ago on a visit to Cyprus, I recall seeing a store advertising (in English) “PRISON” clothing. In the shopping district. But not perhaps as tasty as a well-dressed ‘frog’.

  2. Hahaha! One comes across so many of these funnies in India!! I’d like a ‘frog’ with that’s flare around the hips, please!

    1. Hahaha.. They’ve misspelled FROCKS as FROGS! LOL 😉 😛

Hahahaha.. I’m sure the conversation would have been super funny! 😛 😛
