3 Days, 3 Quotes Tag (Maya Angelou)

Hey Everyone! I hope y’all are having a great day! HAPPY FRIYAY!

I have been named yet again for the 3 Days, 3 Quotes Tag! Yay! *happy dance* Thank you Farah from farahpinklady for tagging me. It’s indeed a pleasure!

FYI – Well this time too this tag comes with a twist folks – I am posting all the three quotes in one post for the three days. Sorry about being such a rebel, I am “shamelessly” way behind on my tags! *hides face*
On a brighter side today’s quotes come from none other than the “fearless” Maya Angelou – My absolute favorite and an inspiration to many!

My loves, it’s no secret that – improving our life starts with improving our mindset!  So, let’s begin today and change our attitude towards life, it’s struggles and the way that we look at it. Remember, living our best life is just an attitude away!

ABOUT MAYA ANGELOU

Marguerite Annie Johnson Angelou (April 4, 1928 to May 28, 2014), known as Maya Angelou, was an African-American author, playwright, poet, dancer, actress, and singer. Her illustrious 50-year career included publishing 36 books, including volumes of poetry and three books of essays. Angelou is credited for producing and acting in several plays, musicals, movies, and TV shows.  She is best known, however, for her first autobiography, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (1969). The book depicts the tragedies of Angelou’s traumatic childhood, detailing a brutal rape at 7 1/2, and an early adulthood encumbered by teenage pregnancy.
Also called “the black woman’s poet laureate”, and her poems have been called the anthems of African Americans – Her most famous work being 1971’s collection Just Give Me a Cool Drink of Water ‘Fore I Die, which was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.
Whether through a book, a play, poem, or lecture, Angelou inspired millions, especially women, to use the negative experiences they survived as a catapult to impossible achievements!
