Bye Bye 2017

Hey everyone! Finally, it is December 31st! Last day of the year – new hopes, fresher dreams!

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.”
― T.S. Eliot

Oh, what a difference a year can make! One year ago, on September 1, 2016 I moved to Memphis (TN) Since then, almost everything has changed in my life. With a change in my status from “a career-oriented professional” to “a homemaker” and now “an ambitious blogger” – year 2017 has been a year of aspirations, dreams and yearnings. It’s been a year of “testing waters” and “taking a plunge” – some “bittersweet moments” and some “fun!”

A year ago I was misplaced and distracted. With everything changing so quickly around me, I was confused and dazed. Aimless and unguided, I was lost at my own space. Thankfully, things changed for good! Post some dark clouds and silver linings – 2017 seemed like a year of dreams. Now I am living a meaningful, thoughtful life, where I have a loving family to get home to, a wonderful husband to take care of and a blog that I can work upon. (Phew! What a year!)

From living a lackluster life, to having a website of my own – 2017 has been a wholesome year for me creatively. With 454 followers (since 12th October, 2017), 8,625 views, 2,877 visitors, 4,611 likes and 199 comments – this year has been the year of realizing dreams and working towards my goals with zeal and devotion. It’s been a year where I took the reigns for my future into my own hands and decided to pursue my visions and fancies. From writing about my Personal Stories to taking part in Photo Challenges and documenting my Travel Shenanigans  – 2017 has been eventful, action-packed and memorable!

December Photo Challenge : Day 29

Hello everyone! It’s day 29 of the “December Photo Challenge” by Through The Eyes Of Gracie. Yay!

Here I am sharing with you all my two preferred versions of “Carol of the Bells” – The first one is from Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the other one is by Lindsey Stirling. Well, music has always resonated with me and my soul, dismissing all the negativity and the hostility around. It is my go-to thing to do whenever I am morose and bitter. No matter what and how I feel, music – always, always uplifts me to an absolute place.

Aptly said and rightly believed – “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
― Bob Marley
